Jacqueline Boone is the founder and CEO of The Dream Academy, a coaching, consulting and online course company based near Asheville, North Carolina. She works with founders, future founders and professionals who are ready to go from dreaming to doing, in Asheville and online.
17 years ago, Jacqueline was asked a single question that changed her life: “What would you do if you had 6 months to live?” She started a blog to find out what would happen if she took 6 months to truly live: to appreciate life’s moments, to let the people around her know she loved them, and to pursue her dreams even when the path was unclear or difficult. Her original 6-month experiment turned into a life philosophy: be true to who you are and create a life you love.
Along the way, she trained thousands of people around the world and worked with over 100 clients in her own consulting business, helping everyone from startups to Fortune 100 and 500 companies create their visions in business. She saw a consistent theme: when people are passionate about what they do and where they spend their time, magic happens.
Jacqueline has 20+ years in digital marketing, professional development, leadership and strategy. Her background includes work with Virgin, Youzan, P&G, CUNY, General Assembly, McCormick, EducationUSA Academy, Volt, Aramark and Cisco. She is a General Assembly instructor, a 2x TEDx speaker (TEDxNormal and TEDxQingboSt) and the author of Heart Language. She has traveled to 32 countries, lived and worked in China for 5 years, and studied in Spain.
